Known for its suburban ease and handy location, Bracken Ridge is quiet, easy-going and packed full of family goodness. One of the lesser-known suburbs of the Moreton Bay region, Bracken Ridge, has long slipped under the radar, but more and more people are sitting up and taking notice as this suburban neighbourhood stakes its claim as the king of convenience. 

Sprinkled throughout Bracken Ridge are neighbourhood shops that cater to everyday needs; Barrett Street Shops, Gawain Road Shops and Bracken Ridge Plaza. But when locals crave more, they only need to head up the road to Strathpine Centre, which has a wider range of shopping and entertainment venues. Or, for those wanting to get closer to the bay, Sandgate is right next door, and Redcliffe is an easy drive via the Houghton Highway Bridge. 

Within Bracken Ridge itself, there is a wide selection of schools to choose from (public and private), sprawling parklands and playing fields for weekend sports. Plus, there is an indoor sports centre, bikeways and walking paths. Bracken Ridge Reserve sits up on a hill with views towards the bay and across the city and has plenty of green space to go around. Yet still, Bracken Ridge has all the convenience of being located next to the Gateway Motorway that connects locals to Brisbane Airport and CBD. 

Then there are the many family homes on generously sized blocks, some newly built and others that are well established with all the mod cons. So it's easy to see why Bracken Ridge's handy location, convenient living, and suburban charm make it a suburb that's hard to beat in Brisbane's Moreton Bay region.
