Macmasters Beach.
Nestled between Copacabana Beach and Little Beach, Macmasters Beach is a popular surfing hotspot on Sydney’s lively Central Coast. Bordered by Cockrone Lagoon on one side and with the great green swathe of the Bouddi National Park on the other, Macmasters Beach offers more than just killer waves.
Surfing, scenery and seclusion are what’s on offer in Macmasters Beach. Located 15 kilometres south of Gosford and 97 kilometres north of Sydney, Macmasters Beach is a small suburb with just over 1,000 residents. Unlike some neighbouring Central Coast beaches that cater to tourists with amenities and entertainment, Macmasters Beach has paired back on urban indulgences. While there are amenities such as the Macmasters Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Barefoot Café and small convenience shops close to the beach, the natural beauty of the area is what attracts visitors and satisfies locals.
Cockrone Lagoon separates the beachfront from neighbouring Copacabana Beach to the north, and with the Second Point headland towering above the shoreline to the south, Macmasters Beach delivers ideal surf conditions for the many eager surfers who visit the bay. The tidal rockpool on the southern end of the beach is the perfect spot to take the kids for a dip. Away from the waves, the Bouddi National Park delivers excellent sightseeing and bushwalking opportunities.
If you’re after a slice of the good life in a superb beachfront location, Macmasters Beach is your ticket.
