Indooroopilly is an attractive riverfront suburb just seven kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Thanks to its proximity to the city, great schools, and the University of Queensland, it’s home to a vibrant mix of students, young couples and families.

The suburb serves its residents well. Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is the largest complex in Brisbane’s Western Suburbs, and boasts a range of stores, restaurants, salons, gyms and a cinema. Station Road is another dining precinct. Indooroopilly Golf Club is a main attraction, with the 36-hole championship course offering both competitive and social golf.

There are many schools to choose from, including St Peter’s Lutheran College, St Ambrose Treacy College and Indooroopilly State School. This, along with its various sports centres, fields and parks, make Indooroopilly a great place in which to raise a family.

As for public transport, residents have several options. The railway station runs frequent services to the CBD, Ipswich, Richlands and beyond, while a number of bus routes pass through stops at the shopping centre. The city is 10 minutes away via express train, and 15 minutes by car.
