Perched on the Parramatta River, Breakfast Point is a beautiful, peaceful pocket of the inner-west. It’s also one of the newer areas – it began being developed as a residential postcode in 2005, so the facilities and buildings are world-class.

Though it’s just 20 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, Breakfast Point feels a world away. With the harbour foreshore as a backdrop, it is mostly home to empty nesters, retirees and professionals who appreciate its convenient location, and enjoy coming home to peace and quiet.

Residents don’t have to travel outside Breakfast Point’s borders for their everyday needs. There is a shopping village with a supermarket, and other services, and a few cafes and restaurants. Locals enjoy an active lifestyle. On any given day, they can be spotted strolling the waterfront walk along the river, and exercising and picnicking at Village Green or Silkstone Park. The country club has additional facilities, such as a gym, lap pool, lagoon, tennis courts and library. When they want to branch out, residents travel to nearby hubs like Concord, Five Dock and Drummoyne for more shopping, dining and entertainment options.

The area is easily accessible by public transport. Cabarita Jetty is close by, and runs regular ferry services to the city and surrounds. Buses operate frequently, and there is a train station in the neighbouring suburb of Concord West. Drivers can also quickly hop on major roadways, such as the M4.

The property market in Breakfast Point is dominated by modern apartment blocks, and the most coveted boast river views. To cater to those who need – or want – more space, there are also townhouses and larger homes, many of which sit on the waterfront and have one to two bedrooms.
