Belle Property agent takes home top award

At the 2017 REB Awards, Belle Property Wollongong co-principal, Jeremy Hodder, cemented his position as a market-leader, taking home the coveted Regional Sales Agent of the Year award. 

Recognising his performance in the 2016 calendar year, Jeremy said receiving the accolade represents a turning point in his business.

“Without adding to the number of people in my team, we gained a lot more traction in our marketplace last year - our market share in our core area increased to around 40 per cent,” he explains.

Focusing on the suburbs of Towradgi and East Corrimal, Jeremy and his team sold more than 100 properties in the last financial year positioning themselves as the clear market leader.

“It’s been a busy and challenging year and it’s great to see all the hard work pay off with achieving such growth in the business. To have that success acknowledged by the industry at the REB awards is an honour – to compete with the best agents across the country and come out on top is an amazing achievement for us,” Jeremy said. 

With a plan already in place for the coming 12 months, Jeremy’s primary focus is on his team.

“This financial year is all about working with my team, to help them grow and develop their own careers. I am already in the process of recruiting a new member into the team and of course we have sales goals we are set to achieve.

“I’d like to see our market share in our core suburbs grow to 50 per cent and we aim to increase our sales to 150 or more in the year ahead.” 

As they set out to achieve their growth ambitions, Jeremy says the foundation of his business won’t change – it will remain firmly focused on delivering greater value to the communities of the Illawarra.
