Hockingstuart and Belle Property support decision from Prime Minister .
Last night the Prime Minister announced on-site and in room auctions are to no longer proceed, along with open for inspections to be enforced from midnight tonight Wednesday 25 March 2020.
“While this certainly poses challenges for our business and the real estate industry in general, we of course support this decision and believe it to be vital in the fight against this virus.
“We all have a responsibility as citizens and members of the community to flatten the curve and as a group we will take these restrictions very seriously,” said Peter Hanscomb, CEO Hockingstuart and Belle Property.
Hockingstuart and Belle Property will remain open for business and are well equipped to service customers with a range of digital solutions.
“Despite these new sanctions, we can still support our thousands of customers who rely on us for buying, selling, renting, leasing and management of their most valuable asset.
“We have the technology and the tools to continue to do business and we are able to continue many of the practices we have already started, like virtual property tours, online auctions, FaceTime walk throughs and private – by appointment only inspections (with hygiene and distancing sanctions applied),” said Peter.
